Can Pack, a multinational company in the business of producing aluminum cans and glass bottles for beverages, wished to erect an aluminum can factory on this 20-acre plot in Aurangabad.
The production line was 200m long, with raw material input at one end, and the finished goods produced at the other.
The master plan had to include a 3,000 m2 corporate office, a dining hall, space for future production lines, and a small temple.
Other requirements were a 8,000 m2 (90,000 ft2) electrical yard and a LPG store to supply the power needed for production.
A plan that blended all these requirements into a synchronised whole was drawn up for Can Pack.
