This house, for HH Ujjwalla Shah, the Princess of Baroda, has been designed to be as open as possible to take advantage of the open landscaped areas around the house. Open verandhas flank the living spaces. Clerestory windows add to the light and ventilation within. The house is situated on a long, narrow plot of land. The landscape around the house was designed to screen off views of adjacent houses and create the effect of a lush tropical garden.
