Sketches
One of the common tools which a architect has is his pen / pencil to sketch to his hearts content to share his ideas with other. Most of the time these minimal sketches and napkin drawings become part an initial thought process for any architectural project. With more and more software's evolving for architects this basic technique and an identity which defines an architect seems to be getting extinct. So keeping up with the spirit and charm of expressing our ideas we share our work here.

Pen & Ink Sketches
Most of the architectural sketches in our office are done in pen and ink. Colors are something which add lot of details to these sketches.

Watercolour
Few elaborate sketches and drawings get a breath of fresh air with vibrant water colors to put life to the idea.

Dry Pastels
This is a very old technique for creating impressionist sketches and representing ideas. We still use this technique since it does give us some very good effects with artificial lighting within the interior spaces and also exteriors.

Pencil Sketches
Pencil sketches are more common than any other mode but they are never finished one's. These usually are used a base drawings to work in them with pen and ink to get the final results.

Sketches for Designing Book Shelf25 March 2013
While we are working on an interior design work for a 1200 sq.ft. residence in Mumbai, we started working on the detailed design of the study room which has a large book shelf on one of its complete wall surface. Below are few of the sketches done to understand the different kinds of books shelf to develop an idea which will work the best for the client and also will be appealing. |
