Natural Juices India, a subsidiary of a South American MNC, purchased a 17,000 m2 plot at Patalganga, Maharashtra to convert into a modern juice production unit, and appointed SDM Architects to create a master plan for the site.
The plot had several existing buildings, some of which were retained and incorporated into the new master plan.
A new 3,000 m2 steel building was proposed to house the 3 production lines. An existing steel shed was converted into the raw materials store for the new plant, while two existing concrete buildings were re-purposed into admin and lab facilities.
State of the art loading - unloading facilities were introduced with motorized dock levellers.
A new water treatment facility was also included to provide water for juice production.
