Maximum city Mumbai is bustling at night with people and events as it has such amazing variety of food joints and restaurants to offer, but only a very few provide fine dining experience. With such a premise a floating fine dine restaurant parked on Arabian Sea and just off The Gateway of India, Colaba makes it one of the most unique dining experiences that is available in Mumbai in 2019.
The idea of this large floating restaurant is one of its kind and was conceptualised by our clients. They purchased two steel vessels from Turkey and shipped them to Mumbai to operate as restaurants or as destination wedding experience. This 7,000 sq.ft. steel vessel has three levels, i.e. the Lower Deck, Main deck and the Upper deck which can host around 400 to 450 diners. The restaurant serves multi-cuisine and high-quality food from all over the world, and all of it is prepared and cooked in the lower deck of the barge.
As the vessel is harboured very strategically next to the Taj Hotel at Colaba, it will attract lot of tourists as well as locals for fine dine meals and provide them with a spectacular view of the city skyline and of the sea. This one of a kind experiences made it very essential to keep the focus on designing the interior of the restaurant space which is very minimal in its approach.
